Did Not Deliver!
After several successful orders and deliveries to a local address, Naked Wines, on its own, decided to send my order to an address I had never used for any previous order. I noticed the shipping address change when my order was confirmed and notified them via the online chat feature immediately. The next business day I received an email they would "try" to notify the shipping department of the change of shipping address. Today when I checked on my order I was told my wine had been delivered to the original, incorrect, shipping address. I have received no additional notice or communication from Naked Wines about the order and have no idea where the dozen bottles of wine went or who signed for them upon delivery. WORST customer service. I've canceled my account with Naked Wines.

Naked Wine a HUGE disappointment
This year for Valentine's Day I recieved 2 dozen beautiful red roses. Included with them from the company that delivered them from my fiance was a voucher card credit of $100 from Naked Wines to put towards PURCHASING wine. I normally wouldn't entertain a wine subscription, but hey I like wine on occassion and thought I will order & then if I don't like it I can cancel it. So I go on their website & of course the voucher on it's own is no where near close to just using it to sample the wines YOU WANT. It is a subscription service where they choose the wines they want to send you for your voucher credit. So I get 16 bottles of wine ordered at almost double cost of the voucher. The site says your wine will be shipped "fast", lol Nope! Over a month goes by & I am doing my best to wait for this wine to arrive so that I can go back out on the road long haul trucking. I have to contact the company, to be told they STILL haven't fulfilled my order! This is after receiving and order confirmation & a "your order has shipped" email notification. I was irrate, but what do you do but wait more? I have to be home to sign for the crap, so I wait another 2 weeks to not have it delivered to my doorstep like their website says- NOPE, I have to get in my pickup and drive to my Walgreens that they use as a drop depot. So I as a woman with back problems then have to lift this huge box with 16 bottles of wine in it across the store to the parking lot & into my pickup & out again. "SO CONVIENIENT". So next after putting 4 bottles in my spare refridgerater to chill for an appropriate weekend comes the taste test with my fiance. 1 bottle was going to be opened, but 4 bottles later after 1-2 sips out of each EVERY SINGLE BOTTLE WAS DUMPED DOWN OUR DRAIN. These wines are like tasting bottom of the barrel low quality wine. Sam's Club makes/markets better wine! The Naked Wines are like tasting moonshine or everclear... like straight gasoline burning every bit of the way down to your stomach. Completely GROSS, not enjoyable & undrinkable. I really think they use that voucher credit as a way to get WELL PAID over cost to pawn off the stock of their garbage wine that no other "Angel" wants to order. On being called "Angels"... how lame but appropriate because drinking more than a few sips of their wine could kill a person. So overall the entire experience was an utter laughable JOKE. Not 1 wine out of that crap storm was drinkable... not even tolerable. If you like drinking gasoline, rubbing alcohol or odd cleaners this wine is for you, but if you actually want to enjoy the taste of your wine, or not be completely embarrased to serve this kind of wine to your guests- by all means over spend on a bottle of wine and try it. I'm not even being overdramatic is the sad part. I wanted to love this wine, but there's no way when even the taste of it angered me after going through all of the above. My fiance and I couldn't even believe that NOT 1 winemaker's wine tasted even slightly paletable. Frankly they all taste almost the same, as if they use the same crap in every bottle & slap a different label on them. I didn't save my receipt because I didn't ever think I'd need it again because I'm def not using it as a tax write-off or ordering again, but trust when I say that I did video after our 1st 4 bottle taste test of me dumping FOUR FULL BOTTLES down the kitchen sink. I will add screenshots of those as my proof of purchase req. For this review. In closing, just pass this by. If you are a true wine connisour you won't be using a wine service like this anyway. If you are like me, an average person that just wants to sit at home in my PJ's, or with friends, fam and fiance with wine on occassion that doesn't kill your budget & tastes good- Go to your local supermarket, wine shop, or Sam's Club. $10 and you're set. The Naked Wines run on average $20 on up & you will remember the awful taste looong after the rest of the bottles have been dumped, along with your money down the drain. I hope this saves someone from making the same mistake I did.
So sick of scams
Can anyone ever just deliver a good quality product without having to resort to legal thievery? I used $100 voucher and had no problem with it and found the lines to be just okay but for 12 bucks a bottle I was okay with it. Nowhere did I ever check any boxes to join their angel program that I just found out about from Reading other reviews on this site. Connecting a credit card audit today I found they charge me $140 for nothing. No wines nothing just a ghost charge that I didn't agree to. I will be disputing this.
It's too bad too because they could be a good upstanding company but instead they have to do the scam tactics.
Never came
After not reciving my shipment, I found out my shipment attempt was going to someone else's address.
I called and asked for a refund. I did d revive a refund but the person at naked wine was abrupt and rude. Truly not the hassle free they claimed. Won't use again
Voucher is a ripoff
We just received a $100 voucher from our daughter as part of a Mother's Day gift (not a gift card as I learned later). We discovered that on back of the voucher it says the $100 is a discount on a minimum purchase $160.00. We did not read this until after we made the purchase. As it turned out, what we thought was a "gift card" was not. We ended up paying $117.00 for the "over $200 order because we did not understand how this program worked. What a "ripoff". Don't use the voucher you receive, you'll end up spending money on wine that is not that great!

Bait and switch
Bait and switch I ordered 12 bottles of white wine that was advertised for $69.99. I received my shipment today and there was only six bottles in the box. I called customer service and the woman that I spoke with was anything but helpful. Shame on you Naked Wines. I canceled my membership today Friday, May 20,2022. Good riddance.
False advertising
After receiving a $100 voucher in a gift box, following the prompts and inputting my email, immediately says not available in Michigan, where I live. Very poor advertising. After going to the website before putting in voucher info, I was excited to purchase some items, and possibly for future purchases, but since this was only a cheap/easy promotion of their product, I will not be purchasing and will let people who are into wines know about this. Very poor and false advertising... to promote your product with a voucher in a state(s) where you don't sell or allow discounts, yet send out hundreds or thousands of these $100 vouchers in at least this state. How many other states don't you allow your vouchers to be used in, yet send them anyways just to get your name out.
Also, in being told that because I wasn't able to make a purchase, this review will not be placed in a front review location, so there's some questionable authenticity about this review legitimacy not being bought away from the company. Hopefully it reaches others to help them.

Will take your money without asking
I bought one case of wine and was immediately signed up for the "angel" program without telling me, I only found out when they tried to withdraw 50$ from my bank account. They also wont let you delete your card to prevent them from doing this. They are a partial scam. Their wines are also mediocre or trash.

Broken Bottle and No Response for the Company
I should have read the reviews before I started ordering wine! The wines are only so so. Some better than most, but mostly mediocre wines. It's nice to support up and coming wineries, but there have been some wines that were truly undrinkable. I written NakedWines and haven't heard anything back. So much for 'Guarantee'. Last shipment had the remains of a broken bottle and was completely repackaged. I sent a note to the *******@nakedwines, but after 10 days of not hearing back I'm done with this program.

Not trustworthy
Closed my account cause they shorted me bottles. They were supposed to refund my account. They did this but immediately took the money back out. When I called about got the run around with customer service saying it was My banks fault. Use at own risk.
Ehhhh
I really wanted to like it. The only nice part was the variety of wines. But all of them tasted awful. Definitely canceled after trying the first two bottles. Not worth it to me.

At best, only ok
The wines were ok. I won't order from them again but meantime, just try to get off their email list. If they don't care enough to comply with the laws requiring them to make it easy to stop their spam emails, I guess it makes sense that they don't care that much about their products.

Wine vouchers are only for Angels.
Apparently nakedwines only accepts wine vouchers if you allow them to make you an Angel, which means they can take money from you every month. I had a valid wine voucher that I was in the middle of using, but as soon as I canceled the Angel subscription during the order, the voucher was deemed invalid.

They try and get over
I had a voucher for 100 dollar's and select 6 bottles and placed the order, then went back to check the order and all of a sudden there were only 5 bottles. I will never use them ever again I will just go where I been going, Coopers Hawk or Wal-Mart.

Good and bad
What I have found with Naked Wines is the ability to try and support small wine makers. Some of the wines are really a good bang for the buck. There are no "premium" experiences here but there are decent "drink now" wines. My negative comments revolve around shipping. I have bought online for 20 years and NEVER had any breakage. Ordered 2 times with naked and both times, breakage. I have noticed that they use really light, thin bottles... so it makes sense. They credited me, so they made it right... but still, it is a pain in the $#*!
